FBLA Medical Release and Code of Conduct Forms Due23 Sep 2015
Any member traveling with FBLA will need to have the FBLA Medical Release and Code of Conduct Form turned in. You can find a copy on Mrs. Lampe's door of her office in the Media Center/Learning Center. Or print one off this site on the right. Students going to any conference that misses days of school will need to fill out the Field Trip Advanced Make-up Form too, (found on Mrs. Lampe's office door).

FBLA National Fall Leadership Conference is a two-day conference. Linn-Mar FBLA students will travel with the Iowa FBLA Chapter to Omaha, NE, November 6-8. The Iowa chapter will arrive before the conference begins for a fun state chapter activity or tour of a local business. NFLC begins and ends with motivational speakers at the opening and closing sessions. During the conference students will get to choose between a number of workshops focusing on the following business topics: Business Ethics, Careers of the Future, College Information (applications, funding, freshmen 101, etc.), Communication, Community Service, Cyber Security, E-Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Etiquette for the Job, Finance, Hospitality, International/Global Skills, Job Skills, Management, Marketing, Social Media, Technology, and FBLA-PBL programs. We will end our trip with a visit to the famous Omaha Zoo. Payment of $250 covers registration, hotel, travel, zoo, and one meal expense; due September 24.

State Fall Leadership Conference (SFLC) is October 4-5, at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Des Moines. SFLC is a two-day conference that allows students interested in business to develop a more in-depth view of business practices in the "real world." The conference consists of a keynote speaker, special interest sessions, workshops, a leadership activity at the Camp Dodge Reaction Course in Johnston and a tour of Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids. Price to attend the conference is $80. Students attending must turn in FBLA Code of Conduct and Medical Release form to Mrs. Lampe and pay the cashier $80 by Thursday, September 17 (checks written to Linn-Mar FBLA).
